The xbone dpad is clearly superior. But evidently more fragile.

All good dpads are one piece. The PS controller dpads merely give the appearance of consisting of multiple buttons.

Xbone has membrane microswitches. Extremely pleasant to play with.
Every other controller I've had, or indeed seen, has had rubber membranes instead. Not microswitches.
The membrane microswitches in this case have a thin metal film that flexes and makes contact, instead of the "normal" rubber + carbon pads.
