would work but wouldnt be ideal as you want gobs of material to stabilize everythong by immobilizing it only real way to fix bad soldering is to redo it yourself or just pot everything in epoxy or hot glue.

But potting has its own problems of being near impossible to fix if something does go wrong and insulate components which could cause undue heat and potentially cause things to die faster. As long as the use isn't high resistance it should be fine.
