I honestly don't know shit about rooting
That's why most people are going to the A1, the stock Google is p appealing
Oh nvm lg v20 has lineageos support
Idk how good it is
But still you need to deal with bootloops
And they cant really push lineage os updates out unless lg gives needed source codes
Yes
It sounds like the build is not finished
v30 any better in that regard?
Dont think so
Atleast it doesent bootloop i guess
I guess I'll risk it
@Ganpo Dadi (贛鄱大地) did you try Kimovil.com for best bang for buck for your budget?
I have one of Xiaomi's Mi Mix 2. Only complaints I have are the difficulty in the rooting process (bootload unlock mostly) and the screen's lower bezel having a blackout applique to give the illusion of a curve on the screen's bottom corners. It's tough to describe verbally but basically the top corners of the screen physically have a curve built into the LCD, while the bottom corners are the usual square corners. There is a black coating on the back of the screen glass to give the illusion of curved corners in the bottom of the LCD. Really easy to notice as you rotate the phone towards and away from your eyes.
wtf
that's uncanny
The bootload unlock was a yooge headache; it only worked if the phone physically thought it was in China. No wonder it cost a hundred dollars less! You had to use a VPN client to get data from a [...Schenzen?] server. In addition to the usual unlocking stuff. Then getting Lineage to work right has proven a hassle; I didn't understand that such a new phone wouldn't have official ROM support yet. First time flashing my own roms for a phone 👍
fag u cole
the last update on my a1 was almost 10 days ago
cant wait desu
where did you get it from
Eglobal lol
Don't you have Oreo already?
Came as a update for me
no I mean
I dont even have the phone yet
Oh rip
It's worth it lol
thats why Im asking where did you get yours from
Amazing phone
tfw the case+glass I ordered 4 days later is already here
cuz postnl
EUROS OUT REEEEEEEEEEEE
I'd rather have an old stock US flagship than a new Chinese budget phone desu
i.e. LG V20
I don't know anything about Chinese phones but they all look like the sort that would come with tons of horrendous bloat
And send your data to the CPC
but Mi A1 doesn't, that's the point
the one were talking about literally runs stock android of the box
