@bentech I had one tool go SLIGHTLY loose on my Leatherman Wave, it wasn't really an issue but sometimes I had to keep it pressed inside so I could close the multitool.

About a year later of me dealing with this I decided to try out their warranty. I bought the Wave in the US (ebay), and they told me to send it in to a local store

They warned me it might take up to 60 days to check the originality of my tool as I didn't have my receipt anymore

7 days later I got a brand new tool in the mail along with a brand new carry pouch

@bentech I've read reports of people finding leatherman multitools in the woods/streets, beaten up, rusty and all that.. sending it in and boom they got a new one
