i personally have had a neewer 700 somethng or other but i didnt like it. the recording mic i have right now is the Samson Meteor mic and i highly reccomend it its super super good

its usb too and you can plug your headphones in it if you want but it doesnt need phantom power and its just overall best quality mic ive ever owned
