I've got a few 616's, I've got a Parker 51
Then a few Wing Sung pens
I think I sold everything aside from my Jinhao and a couple Pilot VP
only pens i have atm are a twsbi eco in bits
platnium 3776
broken pilot century 92
and a wing sung 936
Oh wait. There's a Pelikan somewhere
I really REALLY want the Hero 329 with the "Star Trek" mark. I had some probably a decade ago and lost them.
Three Hero 616's (Two smol, one Jumbo/Doctor), Parker 51, Jinhao X450, Jinhao X750, Jinhao 650, Pilot Metropolitan, Pilot 78G, TWSBI Eco, Duke 911-3 "The Big Shark", Cross Calais, Cross Bailey, Platinum Preppy, Noodler's Nib Creaper. Those are all of my fountain pens.
whats your fav
jinhao is gonna be my first fountain pen in 15 years
It's a hard choice between my Jinhao X450 and my Parker 51.
They've both got buttersmooth nibs, and have excellent flow. They also feel great in the hand.
@nitrokojote is x450 heavy enough? I love heavy pens
It's 43g.
In total.
that's alright
i might get a twsbi vac next
i just like the mechanism
I'd recommend the Jinhao 650 but mine came with a bad feed, so I had to replace it with a spare ebony one I had lying around
I think the 159 is supposed to be bigger/heavier than the 450. Never owned one myself.
tbh chinese pens are so cheap just buy a bunch of them
means you dont have to worry about getting a shit nib as well
Chinese fountain pens are actually some good shit too
yeah
Especially Jinhao and Hero
especially now they have the pilot 78g nib tooling
Duke's also a solid choice.
X450 was my first fountain pen.
Ooh that's pretty.
Looks like TWSBI holy fuck
if you want a cheap twsbi/piston filler
I think my first was a 616 10-pack
they're not very durable but neither are twsbi kek
mine was prob a safari
TWSBI are made in Taiwan. They aren't too durable.
You also have to clean it with a very light mixture of water and soap.
i just let mine stain
