2018-05-13 11:23:58 UTC

g00gle glass

2018-05-13 11:24:04 UTC

google glass is not marketed at consumers anymore

2018-05-13 11:24:08 UTC

Why don't we have embedded front cameras inside phones yet? The speakers can be easily solved by having holes in the screen rather than a speaker grill

2018-05-13 11:24:22 UTC

they are now selling it in bulk to industrial applications as work aides

2018-05-13 11:24:28 UTC

why not put the speakers at the metal band of the phone?

2018-05-13 11:24:37 UTC

Or that

2018-05-13 11:24:37 UTC

camera could be put under the screen

2018-05-13 11:24:57 UTC

I already have an idea on how to hide the camera under the screen

2018-05-13 11:24:57 UTC

I kind of liked the concept of google glass

2018-05-13 11:25:19 UTC

I remember reading online somewhere that AMOLED screens can be made so thin that when not active a IR sensor and camera could be placed behind it or something like that

2018-05-13 11:25:24 UTC

yes this

2018-05-13 11:25:30 UTC

Not the glass, but the organic lights

2018-05-13 11:25:43 UTC

when the camera is in use the parts above the camera get turned off

2018-05-13 11:25:49 UTC

>drop phone
>whole screen broken

2018-05-13 11:25:58 UTC

if it just thin enough it would be possible

2018-05-13 11:25:59 UTC

Isn't that the case now anyways?

2018-05-13 11:26:08 UTC

Not for me

2018-05-13 11:26:08 UTC

>drop phone
>case breaks

2018-05-13 11:26:26 UTC

>drop phone
>glass back breaks
>front glass breaks
Life is suffering

2018-05-13 11:26:33 UTC

>metal band cracks

2018-05-13 11:26:40 UTC

>equip phone with aluminium frame as always
>throw phone
>kill small children

2018-05-13 11:26:46 UTC

this

2018-05-13 11:26:55 UTC

I can use my s8 and iphone 4 as a weapon

2018-05-13 11:27:00 UTC

that metal band hurts

2018-05-13 11:27:00 UTC

I dropped phones a moderate amount of times but only thing that ever broke was the screen protector, once

2018-05-13 11:27:06 UTC

That's why I keep using them

2018-05-13 11:27:20 UTC

glass phones can be durable unless you are called apple

2018-05-13 11:27:27 UTC

I've only ever dropped an old microsoft phone once and that was enough for me to take care of expensive phones I pay thousands for.

2018-05-13 11:27:48 UTC

I have a fuckin strong grip on my phone all times

2018-05-13 11:27:59 UTC

i once dropped my Xperia with an alu frame on it while riding my bicycle, the thing slid on the asphalt for like 10 yards and crashed into the cornerstone of the pavement. all it did was turn the phone off.
