Oh, I do too.
@timsandtoms "Why do you own this, you never leave the house" could describe 80% of my purchases of anything
<:hms:311152554618912768>
I keep trying to justify them by saying I'll only ever buy something that should be better than something else in some way... But really. How much better is that second Emisar, and I really want to find a grippy cyan one too.
@timsandtoms what do you do with the UV light
ive got a grippy cyan one
dont really like the texture
its too rough
See how dirty everything is, mostly. It's not really anything you need, but it's fun and disgusting. Painting my room soon, so I'll be nice to see where I need to clean the walls still, oils from your hands glow.
oils from your hands, sure buddy
i know what yo uneed
I like turning pens on the lathe, if I ever get around to selling some it might be neat listing which ones flouresce.
@bentech If you wanna sell that one, you lemme know.
If it's not beat to shit.
ah fuck it it's getting late I need to sleep
later, my dudes
I got the Ti because I heard the grippy texture was like terracotta, which I hate, but then I forgot the D1S only came in grippy, and I love how unique it is.
Ciao @Cole
How y'all storing batteries? I need a better solution than these boxes that don't always fit, especially as I get more varieties. Gotta get a pack of Eneloops still, and I'd love 18500s in a D4.

im not really
im just leaving them lying around in cases radnomy
i dont know where half my batteries went
On the list of eventually projects is polishing a piece of wood up and drilling some flat bottomed holes to hold batteries, all out and available, upright for charged, upside down for empty.
do it in metal :^)
Eh, I have some purple heart and bubinga, but metal stock is expensive, as are 18mm+ center-cutting end mills.
Plus no mill, just a drill press.
oh
for the mf04
tha tguy
dunno his name
Actually I forgot about pre-drilling. But still. Big mills cost big bills.
What about the MF04?
```It seems like the MF02 has recently started shipping with a more powerful driver. They seem to be putting out between 2.5A and 3A. With this higher amperage, I don’t think anyone has measured the candela. The earlier lights with less power did about 400kcd. They must be doing higher numbers now.
The MF02 is your best bang for the buck. The smaller reflector gives it a bigger hotspot and less throw distance, but that might be okay for your needs.
```
oh
```If the interest is high enough I could make a NarsilM UI 2S Boost driver for the MF04
```
so yeah if the UI is shit you can always get another drive
Neat
I should look into it for the MF01. It's really just the 2 second hold to lock, and hold to turn off instead of press, that I hate. Holding to lock is bad for a powerful light, and you should always be able to turn it off quick.
hold to turn off lmao
