mi a1 is not unlocked

but you can unlock it easily

it's just a switch in settings iirc

doesn't even wipe data

also lock in my car broke

replaced it with a chink one for €30

everything works (electronics too)

it just makes more noise than the OEM one

and also takes more force to close the door now

fair enough

I'll get it to replace my dying OPO and install LOS on it

@Millwood just because it's android one doesn't mean it will have an unlocked bootloader - see Nokia's lineup for 2018: Everything is Android One but none of them are unlockable (yet, anyway)

@Millwood yup, Android One has no relation to bootloader unlocking, at all. it's only about how the OS that the phone ships with works - no bloat, speedy updates etc

the white ones have more capacity

brown ones are more useful in stuff like TV remotes

and brown ones arent rechargeable iirc
