That's my thinking.
you'd need to replace that with one that does support it, or a microcontroller
arduino to rescue dohohohoho(dont)
Like replacing the controller with a handful of ardiuno type shitters, perhaps.
then you'll most likely get into problems with the pins
so you'd need to either deadbug that or some other approach
too much effort/cost instead of replacing board
Perhaps. Might also be fun to fuck with for a while.
actually, you might also run into issues with the scanmatrix
so at that point you're down to basically making a new pcb and moving all the switches over
Although if one could simply source a plug-in controller...
getting into ship of theseus at that point
oh
you know what might be feasible
check if your keyboard has ps/2 support
and either use that, or build a converter for it
Hm. Clever.
http://blog.komar.be/how-to-make-a-keyboard-the-matrix/ there is some shit about it tho if you really choice to experiment

Don't forget that I'm in Cuckistan. The price automatically doubles. ☹️
then its more the case
as i bet arduino would run you same "double price"
The AK50 would be nice if not for the gay rainbows
and lewd exposed sides
There's cheapo Arduino clones available from UK ebay sellers. Not chink cheap, but still reasonably priced.
>find the perfect looking keyboard on aliexpress
>its just the keycaps
message em and ask what keyboard they used in promo pics ? proft ?
Anyone tried Outemu Blue's?

God I hate RGB
Looks pretty good, despite rgb meme.
its not like anyone is forcing you to use the RGB
turn it off then
The funny thing is its not RGB, each row has a strip of single-coloured LEDs, so you can't turn them all blue for instance.
Its either gay rainbow or nothing
