sub 50 is quite a tight territory, i'd buckle up some bucks and get a Deco 01 or M708, depending on your preference. If you wanna go full authentic weeb, you may also get a wacom bamboo at 80bucks.

most huion tablets are reported working and most ugee ones are unkown, a few not working @Tribit

2018-05-25 14:14:42 UTC

@Sdeck37 what about those two differenciates them from the rest of the market tho

2018-05-25 14:14:52 UTC

I want to understand the world of graphics tablets

@Millie nothing really, they're both just in a good price/perf position

2018-05-25 14:16:28 UTC

Dunno about krita tbh, i run a windows for PS and SAI

2018-05-25 15:00:26 UTC

3pieces or more

2018-05-25 15:00:54 UTC

3 pieces?

2018-05-25 15:01:07 UTC

nvm, i'm a dum dum

2018-05-25 15:06:56 UTC

m708 is reported to be broken in krita

2018-05-25 16:34:38 UTC

Broken?

2018-05-25 16:36:12 UTC

I thought UGEE was a good brand

2018-05-25 16:38:22 UTC

could you be thinking of ugreen instead?

2018-05-25 16:49:07 UTC

@Deleted User it is but open source software a shit

2018-05-25 16:49:38 UTC

can't expect them to have optimisation for every tablet out there

2018-05-25 16:49:46 UTC

True

2018-05-25 16:50:16 UTC

But it would be alright for some casual photoshop drawing I suppose?

2018-05-25 16:50:29 UTC

yes

2018-05-25 16:50:46 UTC

they're great for drawing in photoshop and sai

2018-05-25 16:50:56 UTC

UGEE and Huion are the main chink brands

2018-05-25 16:51:42 UTC

Thanks, it will make a nice gift

2018-05-25 16:53:58 UTC

broken as in not working with krita

2018-05-25 17:40:55 UTC

I still propose a shitty 128gb ssd with windows, running PS and Sai there and saving psds and such to your NAS.
Krita is still too new to cover it all.

2018-05-25 17:45:40 UTC

hey would shitty o rings from ali help dampen my shitty mechanical keyboard (red switches) because I gotta record things for school and you can't hear anything but my fucking keyboard

2018-05-25 17:45:55 UTC

anyone here tried them out?

2018-05-25 17:48:06 UTC

Red rings from kbd worked for me.
You won't reach absolute silence though.

2018-05-25 17:49:04 UTC

I mean obviously it won't be super silent

2018-05-25 17:49:17 UTC

does it feel different to type with rings on though? is the key travel different?

2018-05-25 17:52:08 UTC

Wait I cram it out

2018-05-25 17:55:15 UTC

Linear feels absolute the same, despite shorter travel.

2018-05-25 17:56:20 UTC

Zealios are a but tricky, the activation is right before the damper kicks in. Feels definitely weird if you expect a bump

2018-05-25 17:58:59 UTC

Yeah, the same applies to gateron/cherry brown, green and blues.

2018-05-25 17:59:34 UTC

You basically turn those into rubber domes

2018-05-25 18:00:13 UTC

But it definitely helps with the noise.

2018-05-25 18:02:22 UTC

alternative

2018-05-25 18:02:25 UTC

buy a cheap rubber dome keyboard
