Finally got around to charging the LiitoKala Sony VTC6's, and they seem legit. Super well matched, they all finished charging within maybe 3 minutes, took around 2300mAh, charging at a speedy 3A. Topped out at around 40c. Didn't test internal resistance because these are all for single cell lights, the 30Qs will be for getting paired.

2018-06-18 16:58:03 UTC

3A?

2018-06-18 16:58:04 UTC

wow

2018-06-18 16:59:34 UTC

Everyone thinks it's crazy high, but also says that nice cells can go as high as 2C safely, although 1C is better... That's only 1C on these

2018-06-18 17:01:32 UTC

isnt 1c about 2~ A

2018-06-18 17:02:47 UTC

3000mAh cells

2018-06-18 17:05:30 UTC

Whoops, ignore that deleted bit, just got up. But yeah, 3A is 1C

2018-06-18 17:07:10 UTC

i bought some ikea rechargeable batteries

2018-06-18 17:07:56 UTC

Any good? Aren't they just unbranded Eneloops?

2018-06-18 17:08:31 UTC

The Eneloops?

2018-06-18 17:08:35 UTC

ya

2018-06-18 17:08:39 UTC

i havent used them yet

2018-06-18 17:09:47 UTC

how many recharge cycles can i use batteries for?

2018-06-18 17:10:30 UTC

i mostly use them for my xbox 1 controller

2018-06-18 17:10:39 UTC

Depends on the battery. I think normal Li-ion are supposed to have something like 70% capacity over 300 cycles, as a rough gauge, and Eneloops are insane

2018-06-18 17:10:55 UTC

Goz3rr wat?

2018-06-18 17:11:01 UTC

But you won't need new batteries for that controller ever

2018-06-18 17:11:20 UTC

they already hold less than a full charge after 2 years of use

2018-06-18 17:11:29 UTC

i can just recycle the old batteries

2018-06-18 17:11:49 UTC

I thought you hadn't used them yet?

2018-06-18 17:12:17 UTC

no the gp 2600

2018-06-18 17:12:28 UTC

i have that in my xbox

2018-06-18 17:12:42 UTC

And there are about a billion ways to degrade batteries, but properly cared for(don't get hot, don't stay empty, charger isn't shit or overly aggressive), they'll last a long time
