works well

2018-07-24 08:05:18 UTC

Good quality?

2018-07-24 08:05:20 UTC

yep

2018-07-24 08:05:27 UTC

Neat, I'll try one.

2018-07-24 08:05:28 UTC

And no you don't need good soap/cream, but it is nice.

2018-07-24 08:05:58 UTC

I'm not saying go buy Castle Forbes, but a tub of Proraso pays for itself

2018-07-24 08:06:47 UTC

Hell, if you're US I've got some Coate's taking up space I want to send to a good home for the price of shipping.

2018-07-24 08:07:50 UTC

I agree, I meant more in the sense of

2018-07-24 08:08:06 UTC

If you want to try out a safety razor, you don't need to get a brush or great soap

2018-07-24 08:08:25 UTC

You can do it after, gradually.

2018-07-24 08:12:58 UTC

Can I just use normie shaving gel?

2018-07-24 08:13:50 UTC

@Raikon link me up on that shaver, are they on Ali?

2018-07-24 08:15:51 UTC

What does the adjustment do? <:blobthinkingeyes:427568214579609601>

2018-07-24 08:16:04 UTC

Just get proper razors gents

2018-07-24 08:16:31 UTC

Yeah, I wanted to ask about that too

2018-07-24 08:16:36 UTC

Tho i admit that safety ones are good option too

2018-07-24 08:16:39 UTC

Don't want chink razors, I think

2018-07-24 08:17:09 UTC

But I'll put them in that chink shaver

2018-07-24 08:17:09 UTC

The adjustment essentially allows you to choose how aggressive you want the razor to be

2018-07-24 08:17:24 UTC

Oh, you can make it longer/shorter?

2018-07-24 08:17:34 UTC

People tend to not recommend adjustible razors to newbies, but you can just set it on like 2 and forget

2018-07-24 08:17:46 UTC

Figures but I didn't know those things do that

2018-07-24 08:17:48 UTC

and then adjust it as you shave and get a feel for it

2018-07-24 08:17:55 UTC

with time

2018-07-24 08:17:59 UTC

Okay

2018-07-24 08:18:07 UTC

What razors do you use with that?

2018-07-24 08:18:32 UTC

I generally use Astra Platinum or Feather blades

2018-07-24 08:18:34 UTC

off amazon

2018-07-24 08:18:49 UTC

The razor comes with 5 chink blades, but they aren't bad at all.

2018-07-24 08:18:57 UTC

Oh, nice

2018-07-24 08:19:21 UTC

Though
>chink steel

2018-07-24 08:19:30 UTC

The pasta comes back

2018-07-24 08:20:00 UTC

I have 1 chink straight razor and it does as good job as <luxury gift name here>

2018-07-24 08:20:05 UTC

Astra blades are so cheap on amazon, not even worth looking into Ali for cheaper chink steel

2018-07-24 08:20:19 UTC

Yeah, I don't want chink blades

2018-07-24 08:20:33 UTC

Just curious which ones to get as I never used them

2018-07-24 08:20:46 UTC

I didn't cut myself in teenage years so no experience

2018-07-24 08:21:16 UTC

Do you have that holder? Does it stand properly? @Raikon

2018-07-24 08:22:58 UTC

Actually, what the fuck do I need a stand for?

2018-07-24 08:25:06 UTC

Stand is optional mostly. Just makes it look nicer on the counter. Probably helps it dry a bit faster, letting them sit wet is one of the biggest things that dulls blades.
