Aren't all the machines from Starbucks just oems outsourced to Shenzhen?

I have seen the self serve kiosks on sale too, it's around 1k per stand average

Feel that 1K wont sufficiently be dumbed down enough for self serve

And the POS is just generic wang blows garbage that let's somebody up the chain move menu items around every week

@AstroJannah it is also very cheap to simply not have a bussiness because people would rather pay 1.50 for someone to do the work of pushing buttons for them

They're from some Nordic country and the exports make up a large chunk of that country's economy

I'm not kidding I came in one week and just classic regular syrup was swapped

They moved the most common syrup button from the middle of the screen to off left for no reason

Somebody's getting paid for this crap

Apparently a swiss company makes the machines for them

They're really good machines tho, they automatically adjust the grind as the day goes on to keep calibrated and a 20s pull time

I bet the pos and machines still run XP (adjusted by chinks)

Many, many franchises use outdated computers because the cost ratio just isn't there to upgrade

Amazon's AI is a fucking joke, just compare the Google Smart Displays to Alexa Show and it's not a good showing that they can get trounced so clean this many years into the game
