DE89's pretty good. I was about to buy one but I settled on the 42C.

Good call too. 42C is compact, but it's hefty and works great

What I recommend is buying two of the most common packs. That way, you'll get duplicates of the blades so it'll rule out the chance of getting a dud

As for soaps, or creams, it's best to find samplers but it can be a pain in the arse sometimes
