you dont get taxed for buying from another EU country

this sticker is used as an indication to a receiving country that while it was sent from another EU country, it didn't originate there

and it should be treated as if it came from outside the EU

they're not going to send it through customs

IE

you buy chinkshit

it flies from china to poland

and then is brought to germany by truck

in poland it gets this sticker

nothing is inspected

and it's shipped to germany

german customs is supposed to check your package for possible tax due etc.

I see, well I didn't need to pay tax so it's all good

they basically treat it the same as a package that came from china directly

You only pay taxes if the package's value is above a certain amount, it differs from country to country

It's also somewhat random as they never inspect all packages
