@bentech Huawei already made it on my list of "don't buy this shit" after dropping software support so fucking quickly and software disabiling hardware features to promote selling of flagships
They locked it completely now?
no its just 2 month wait
Either way xiaomi seems to be fast track to that list then.
also nothing wrongw ith sofwtare disabling
I was talking huawei
Yes if fucking is
I paid good money for that phone, and unlike its competition they locked the fucking gyroscope down completely
Like, let me see
9200 czk
Man
That's fucked up
414 USD, only to have the gyroscope locked unless I buy a flagship @bentech
Don't excuse that trash
wtf the gyroscope lol
gyroscope my bad
yeah they software locked the gyroscope
Upping it to 2 months just really shows they don't want you to do it.
You can endure it now, but you might as well start looking into other options already
Now that I hear they completely locked the bootloader despite providing near zero updates for their phones, Huawei is defitely on my shit list
@Raikon the issue was with resellers who flashed their own roms and shit
That's what we thought with the initial period, but this is excessive and doesn't fix the problem any more than the previous wait time
I would say
I think I'll only buy xperias now. Fuck this, fuck that. Fuck mediatek and I'm this close to saying fuck xiaomi
And xiaomi was the one thing I would have given the chance if I wasn't gonna get that xperia
just buy samsung or google :^)
If only Samsung supported their phones for more than what, 2 years?
Then they'd be at least *a little bit* of a viable choice
2 years is long enough tbh
ok just buy apple then
At the Note 9's price range, I'd definitely lean more towards Apple.
>I'm going to buy xperia because of their open source drivers almost everywhere, good support for their phones, quality components and nice design
>HAHA JUST BUY JEWGLE SHEEPLE
@bentech sober up pls
No idea how Sony's support has been lately
It's great
yeah
Then again, they do release phones every 6 months, so it's bound to be worse in some capacity
