THe rn3p is good, but its cheaper quality is noticeable. A lot of cheapout is well done though

2018-08-31 23:25:11 UTC

I didnt realize the reason the top.bottom is plastic is for wifi and mobile modem to connect better (antenna)

2018-08-31 23:25:22 UTC

I thought they were just being cheap because such parts and welding is an additional cost

2018-08-31 23:25:34 UTC

when Apple did use the frame as antenna they screwed up and got bad signal stuff etc

2018-08-31 23:25:52 UTC

@AstroJannah motorized mech

2018-08-31 23:26:00 UTC

like on that new oppo/vivo phone

2018-08-31 23:26:09 UTC

I mean the bottom and side parts

2018-08-31 23:26:25 UTC

Oppo, just another example of crap design.

2018-08-31 23:26:28 UTC

oh what

2018-08-31 23:26:29 UTC

As I expected from them though

2018-08-31 23:26:33 UTC

it looks fine lol

2018-08-31 23:26:36 UTC

You're holding it wrong

2018-08-31 23:26:40 UTC

yeah, looks fine eh.

2018-08-31 23:26:54 UTC

But that sensor looks like its bound to die, and you are buying a toy phone like an IPhone X

2018-08-31 23:26:59 UTC

Anyone excited about 5g?

2018-08-31 23:27:02 UTC

me

2018-08-31 23:27:08 UTC

Not really

2018-08-31 23:27:11 UTC

sayiong that my 4g speeds are good enough already

2018-08-31 23:27:13 UTC

LG had their ups and downs

2018-08-31 23:27:19 UTC

modularity flopped so horribly

2018-08-31 23:27:27 UTC

Unlimited ultrafast mobile data
My mouth just waters

2018-08-31 23:27:28 UTC

@Deleted User you considered jsut buiyn a used lg phone lol?

2018-08-31 23:27:33 UTC

What I want is for my speeds to go up when I don't have 4G, e.g. on commute

2018-08-31 23:27:38 UTC

so the LG G5 ehm, anyway we were about 5g not the g5, right, big difference.

2018-08-31 23:27:39 UTC

That'd be the shit

2018-08-31 23:27:41 UTC

LTE is good enough here.

2018-08-31 23:27:53 UTC

Connectivity and speed. DOes 5G have less range? If so it doesnt matter much.

2018-08-31 23:27:55 UTC

i've got 168/61 before on 4g

2018-08-31 23:28:07 UTC

low-range LTE antennas usually do well in speed

2018-08-31 23:28:22 UTC

you can do low range or hiagh range 5g

2018-08-31 23:28:29 UTC

@bentech well yeah but I wasn't really talking about used phones rn

2018-08-31 23:28:31 UTC

most freqs though are around 3.4ghz

2018-08-31 23:28:43 UTC

The less your phone is busy using 4g the longer the battery last

2018-08-31 23:29:01 UTC

@Deleted User its like 200gbp for a lg g6

2018-08-31 23:29:03 UTC

amazing

2018-08-31 23:29:10 UTC

If it takes 1 sec on 5g and 2 minutes that's 119 seconds of transmit power saved

2018-08-31 23:29:22 UTC

the g series can be good

2018-08-31 23:29:31 UTC

provided they dont have bootloop issues (lol)

2018-08-31 23:29:34 UTC

Oh really? Are they in low demand or something @bentech ?

2018-08-31 23:29:47 UTC

no one wants them lol

2018-08-31 23:29:49 UTC

5g is according to 3gpp specs just as efficient
