2018-09-01 23:09:07 UTC

(which is apparently cool as fuck if you're into low level hardware programming stuff, assembly type shit)

2018-09-01 23:18:05 UTC

@bentech I assume it's a tripod mount

2018-09-01 23:18:20 UTC

2018-09-01 23:18:25 UTC

at least

2018-09-01 23:18:28 UTC

not same as blf q8 one

2018-09-01 23:18:35 UTC

did you get the strap thing in the box?

2018-09-01 23:18:37 UTC

it threads onto that

2018-09-01 23:19:28 UTC

Oh. Hadn't even thought of that. Whoops.

2018-09-01 23:19:47 UTC

I so rarely use those, because they scratch up the anodizing

2018-09-01 23:49:08 UTC

gtx 1080 with i7 8700 for $1,400, or gtx 1080 with i7 8700k for $1,574

2018-09-01 23:49:20 UTC

full prebuilt pcs

2018-09-01 23:51:59 UTC

https://www.amazon.com/Original-OPPO-Smartphone-Support-TECHNOLOGY%EF%BC%89/dp/B07F43X4F1/

2018-09-01 23:53:43 UTC

2018-09-01 23:54:02 UTC

@kleyoni24 The fuck does that have to do with /csg/?

2018-09-01 23:54:53 UTC

Also, depends on use-case

2018-09-01 23:55:09 UTC

And if the rest of the stuff included is any different.

2018-09-01 23:55:45 UTC

could be chinkshit

2018-09-01 23:56:13 UTC

uhh

2018-09-01 23:56:22 UTC

Also, don't buy either of those, www.logicalincrements.com

2018-09-01 23:56:31 UTC
2018-09-01 23:56:46 UTC

arent gpu prices still high?

2018-09-01 23:56:51 UTC

No

2018-09-01 23:57:12 UTC

Also www.reddit.com/r/buildapcsales. GPUs dropped months ago.

2018-09-01 23:57:39 UTC

besides, they both got 16 gigs of ram, 240 gb ssds, and and 2tb hdds

2018-09-01 23:58:28 UTC

Do they tell you which drives, and are those drives good drives? If no to either, don't.

2018-09-01 23:59:04 UTC

uh they're both brand new pcs if that answers your question

2018-09-01 23:59:05 UTC

Also the PSU, is it good? Otherwise get a good one, you'll make up the price difference in saving on power bill. Check 80 Plus on Wikipedia.

2018-09-01 23:59:49 UTC

It doesn't tell me shit. There are hundreds of models of parts. They make their money by making a margin using shit parts.

2018-09-02 00:00:00 UTC

uhh

2018-09-02 00:00:09 UTC

Also bulk pricing when they buy. But mostly both.

2018-09-02 00:00:33 UTC

600w psu for the $1,575 and 550 for the $1,400

2018-09-02 00:01:07 UTC

That doesn't mean anything.

2018-09-02 00:01:15 UTC

you asked for the psus

2018-09-02 00:01:15 UTC
2018-09-02 00:01:47 UTC

what exactly do you mean by shitty parts

2018-09-02 00:01:51 UTC

anyway

2018-09-02 00:02:33 UTC

Prices for DIY vs prebuilt are so close, if you don't know the model number on every part in the prebuilt, just assume they used shitty parts. DIY is a couple hours and a single screwdriver type project, anyone can manage, and you'll get a much higher quality computer for it.
