well youre probably rich anyway lol

2018-09-22 12:40:18 UTC

yeah totally rich boi

2018-09-22 12:40:54 UTC

Its off-topic, but I have loans that are at 21k EUR now.

2018-09-22 12:40:57 UTC

well gearbest has been pretty reasonable to me so good luck

2018-09-22 12:41:05 UTC

thats a BIG oof

2018-09-22 12:41:49 UTC

Yeah, that was why I ordered here, Lauri said that his phone got sent underdeclared, maybe they are just saying this to keep up face.

2018-09-22 12:42:28 UTC

I also saw another one who posted in reviews it was declared as 100 USD, this is also acceptable since its not that bad. I have to pay a fee to pay taxes, this is the worst when it comes to chink shit.

2018-09-22 12:42:45 UTC

You can end up with 50% of the item tax cost being the handling fee for collecting taxes of the postal company

2018-09-22 12:43:17 UTC

25% tax I am fine with

2018-09-22 12:44:00 UTC

when it comes to chink shit I think that in the future everything will be taxed through an online EU portal some years from now

2018-09-22 12:44:08 UTC

well everything is more expensive up there so it would be sorta unfair if you had to pay the same there than you have to pay here

2018-09-22 12:44:35 UTC

Well I am getting the A2 lite, it has warranty if I order it locally. Okay so let me explain the scenarios

2018-09-22 12:45:23 UTC

a2 meaning phone?

2018-09-22 12:45:30 UTC

1 I get chinkshit phone locally, its the 32GB ROM, 3GB RAM version, 230 euros. But I do get 2 years? probably 1 year local warranty,

2018-09-22 12:45:33 UTC

like a xiaomi a2 is that a thing?

2018-09-22 12:46:04 UTC

2. I get it at GearBest, the 64GB ROM and 4 GB RAM model. 152 euros, probably 50 eur in tax. so 200 euros.

2018-09-22 12:46:46 UTC

So for a cheaper price, even if taxed, I get a phone with 1GB more RAM and 30 GB more ROM.

2018-09-22 12:46:49 UTC

Yeah its a phone.

2018-09-22 12:46:56 UTC

I guess I shouldnt be worried since thats fine.

2018-09-22 12:47:53 UTC

I barely ever used warranties, trust the Xiaomi stuff to work as it should. Obviously me being a retard and dropping it isnt covered by warranty.

2018-09-22 12:49:01 UTC

that said, I probably will use GB less if they splerg.

2018-09-22 12:49:18 UTC

i have a mi mix 2 for almost 1 year now and its fine

2018-09-22 12:49:22 UTC

even dropped it on day 2

2018-09-22 12:49:52 UTC

Probably a good flagship phone.

2018-09-22 12:51:12 UTC

well good luck on your order

2018-09-22 12:51:58 UTC

thanks. For the record Germany is lucky in this. All of the big merchants offer German Express where they take care of taxes for you. Here its manual and outdated.

2018-09-22 12:54:22 UTC

Checked my last GB order

2018-09-22 12:54:38 UTC

They sent it with the legit value, but they checked the gift box...

2018-09-22 12:54:57 UTC

this is contradictory to what their support said.

2018-09-22 12:55:06 UTC

<:hms:311152554618912768>

2018-09-22 12:55:21 UTC

probably just a happy little accident

2018-09-22 12:55:37 UTC

dont get taxed below 40 dollars anyway

2018-09-22 12:55:58 UTC

couldnt have foreseen that happening when they were making a statement on record on their wiki

2018-09-22 12:56:18 UTC

I was scared when I got two routers worth 40 dollars from GB since thats just the limit, but turned up fine

2018-09-22 12:56:34 UTC

ah well, I hope its just public apperance.

2018-09-22 12:56:57 UTC

Will report back on it if anyone even cares. I mean, its not like a ton of people already did this. *they did, a lot of people bought phones from GB...

2018-09-22 12:57:34 UTC

sure, good luck 😃
