charging between 20-80 causes MUCH less wear than charging from 0 - 100 tho
shouldnt have stuck to my boomer ideals
like not just a little bit, it becomes orders of magnitude at that point
I drain beyond 0% <:blobhyperthink:427568506905559040>
my battery goes to 0% before it shuts off and it feels like when that bit of music plays on the last round of mario kart
Upsm doesn't shut down until the display starves for voltage, usually soud cuts out 10 seconds after that and the phone stops functioning after 30 seconds
sometimes I'll charge it when its at 0 and it will shut off while charging
I wish phones could be powered via cable like laptops
USB C my fren
I refuse to get any phone without a headphone jack, whats good and relatively cheap? @AstroJannah
there are phones with usb-c and headphone jack
pocophone is a meme for that reason
i don't personally like the sound of it very much but yknow its probably fine
Samshit has a headphone jack <:alismirk:230784726615588865>
>relatively cheap
They cost just as a much as a Poco here
I have a cheapo sambomb that just werks but is starting to get dated
I live in burgerland
Sighh I dont know then
Glorious eu pricing
get poco my friend
does pocomeme have compatability with most of all us networks?
not really
only xiaomeme phone that has them is mix series I think
its a no from me
Damn it lacks a ton of cellular bands
yeah
didn't know that about it, huh
also i was very hesitant about getting a phone without a headphone jack
but its been a week and i'm already over it
i have a little adapter that means i can charge and use headphones at the same time, and it works fine. tiiiiny bit of electrical noise, but you can't hear it as soon as you play anything
don't mean to be a no-jack apologist, i still think it's a fucking dumb thing to get rid of and i'd rather they kept it, but yknow, i pretty much haven't noticed its absence unlike i thought i would
But that means if you lose the dongle you won't be able to use headphones until you get a new one?
well, now i have two dongles, the one that came with the phone and the second one i bought so i could charge at the same time
but i do also have some bluetooth headphones as backup
chances of me losing the dongle are virtually 0 though, its never detached from my headphones. basically just part of the headphone cable at this point
@Adam W I have a dedicated player but most of often when I use the jack on my phone its for podcasts or calling
so pulling out a dongle for that would be annoying
instead of just unplugging the jack from my walkman and plugging into my phond
i can understand that. i don't have anything else i plug the same headphones into so its not an issue for me
