So mods surf /csg/ and personally skim the posts? I remember there was supposed to be a string you could add to a post to get it automatically added, but that's no more 🤔

2018-11-21 22:20:13 UTC

@Iren Masot i dunno if the [review] tag still works... It had some problems

2018-11-21 22:20:28 UTC

2018-11-21 22:20:39 UTC

2018-11-21 22:20:41 UTC

2018-11-21 22:21:08 UTC

2018-11-21 22:21:45 UTC

Rig up an LCARS knockoff and be the hero we deserve

2018-11-21 22:21:45 UTC

But yeah shield like that should work better and save battery

2018-11-21 22:21:58 UTC

Hdmi is expensive to run

2018-11-21 22:22:18 UTC

phone is 5.5 inches
laptop is 13.3 inches

2018-11-21 22:22:38 UTC

so something in the middle would be perfect

2018-11-21 22:22:46 UTC

thats not 7 inches

2018-11-21 22:23:44 UTC

There exist 7 inch model too

2018-11-21 22:23:52 UTC

I bet my leg on that one

2018-11-21 22:24:10 UTC

7 is a modest size

2018-11-21 22:24:17 UTC

2018-11-21 22:33:20 UTC

yeah

2018-11-21 22:33:49 UTC

ive come to my conclusion, the 10inch for portability, a TFT would fuck up that idea

2018-11-21 22:34:00 UTC

and cause me to build some sort of case

2018-11-21 22:39:20 UTC

@Adrenochrome If you need a portable screen for a pi but also carry your laptop with you. Have you ever considered of just getting a capture card so you can just plug in the HDMI to display on your Mac?

2018-11-21 22:40:05 UTC

Like some of these AliExpress portable monitors are like 5x the thickness of any modern laptop.

2018-11-21 22:40:38 UTC

@adamcdx they would be for different uses, the macbook would be actual work like at uni or being at at a clients house

2018-11-21 22:41:02 UTC

and the pi would have a wireless mechanical keyboard and offer more freedom in a way

2018-11-21 22:41:18 UTC

but i agree some of these screens are thick af

2018-11-21 22:41:43 UTC

2018-11-21 22:42:19 UTC
