socket is normal

vacuums, anything really sparks when you but them in socket

specialy in 230v lines

specialy if there is other current already drawn from said socket/line

my lab/compu rooms sockets spark nearly always when desktop is on and processing

not so much when its idling

different is if the device lets the sparks "extra" voltage to the usb-side

local finnish govermental quality control bought 16 ? of 1-6 dollar ones

and only 3-4 of them were good

only thing that does is buying products what are tested to be good and hoping that their quality control stays the same

I rather pay a few extra bucks for a chance of a house fire
