AC to DC
get a meanwell power brick with it then
the coarse/fine knobs are horrible
digital control is much better
i also trust the quality and current limiting of the RD ones more
that's €130 for me
waaaay more than a RD + PSU
its ~60euros on amazonde
that's more reasonable
and some other sellers identical model proble cheaper too
just wondering if there is some ali secrets i dont know about
and cant be arsed to go /diy/
and ask around due how shitty 4chan(nel) is
i'd go for one of the RD DPS models, which can be had for €40 ish with a case, depending on the specs you want, along with a 36v mean well psu for €20 ish
some autists even made custom firmware for it
@Tervy I have a 30a 12v meanwell, not an adjustable one, and I've been pleased with it for the short time I've had it. Was the best option on Digikey when I checked. Only complaint was that the surface that's supposed to be mounted on something for heat transfer wasn't the flattest, but it was well within reason.
thing is i need/want adjustable
Just a vouch for the brand in general
Yeh
Aliexpress ones are equivalent these days
its really simple parts
inside simpler case
but yeah meanwell is quite "known" brand of those
so no suprise that it works
Yeah, for sure. Like I said, just a vouch for the brand in general.
All potted up, very high efficiency.
i have 1 order of 5V those already planned
but the actualy LAB-device is still missing
Price felt reasonable for what I got and where I got it.
why i asked help for the adjustable
i guess i could make some silly powerblock > dsp > out setup
to custom 3D print case if i wanted to
but that would need cad work and stuff like that ..eww
I remember when I looked for one before, whatever AvE used seemed reasonable for an adjustable
:D
Shit, Fluke garage sale was last month, shoulda had friend look out for power supply D:
