Yeah, very true

2017-08-30 02:48:45 UTC

I do

2017-08-30 02:49:00 UTC

Is it generally shitlib territory?

2017-08-30 02:49:03 UTC

Well I moved 20 min outside of town last fall

2017-08-30 02:49:23 UTC

Always best to be about 20 minutes from the city lol

2017-08-30 02:49:29 UTC

You know the city has always been Dem run but it's gotten fucking horrible in the last 5 years

2017-08-30 02:49:46 UTC

I used to live less than 5min from Lee Park

2017-08-30 02:50:19 UTC

It's not being taken over by hostile commies

2017-08-30 02:50:28 UTC

It's pretty fucking awful, actually

2017-08-30 02:51:55 UTC

If you look at it on a political map it's a very dark blue amongst a sea of red. Strange little place, but it was a great place to grow up. Then we made a few lists on best place to live, raise a family etc and all hell broke loose.

2017-08-30 02:52:45 UTC

Interesting. It may be able to be saved one day.

2017-08-30 02:53:52 UTC

Anything happen with that guy cutting the tarp down?

2017-08-30 02:53:58 UTC

Or was he unable to?

2017-08-30 02:54:18 UTC

He didn't but people got it all the way down on Sunday

2017-08-30 02:54:26 UTC

It went.m back up on Monday

2017-08-30 02:54:37 UTC

It will come back down

2017-08-30 02:54:41 UTC

Haha nice

2017-08-30 02:54:47 UTC

Some patriots there I guess

2017-08-30 02:55:02 UTC

Plenty

2017-08-30 02:55:10 UTC

We probably woke up a few more

2017-08-30 02:55:25 UTC

I overslept my alarm bc I watched the fight the night before

2017-08-30 02:55:27 UTC

Hoping the city leadership actually gets sued.

2017-08-30 02:55:34 UTC

And we will return

2017-08-30 02:56:03 UTC

We should just get another permit and not announce publicly.

2017-08-30 02:56:11 UTC

This time have speeches

2017-08-30 02:57:15 UTC

Yeah - well working on the lawsuit

2017-08-30 02:57:26 UTC

There is a hearing about the statues tomorrow too

2017-08-30 02:57:54 UTC

Isn't there a council they have to to through anyway?

2017-08-30 02:57:58 UTC

To even remove them?

2017-08-30 02:58:08 UTC

I know this is the case in Lexington

2017-08-30 02:58:22 UTC

Pfft the council have all changed their votes to unanimously remove them

2017-08-30 02:58:39 UTC

I mean some outside military history council

2017-08-30 02:58:40 UTC

But they're fighting it with the deed to the land and the law about war memorials

2017-08-30 02:58:48 UTC

No-

2017-08-30 02:58:55 UTC

Unfortunately not

2017-08-30 02:59:05 UTC

Lexington has this protection

2017-08-30 02:59:07 UTC

They're being stopped right bow by a judge

2017-08-30 02:59:18 UTC

Doubt they can make them vote against it seeing as that's their job

2017-08-30 02:59:38 UTC

The case is based on the fact that the deeds to the land were based upon the statues being there

2017-08-30 02:59:48 UTC

Oh shit

2017-08-30 02:59:54 UTC

The land was given to the city by the Mcintire family
