Next time I gotta use more compost
What's appropriate harvest time for taters?
Depends on the potato
Some are early season and take only 60 days
These I planted are late season russets so they took 100 days.
Ultimately, if you dont know how long the potato is going to actually take to grow then you can go by when the plants foliage dies and turns yellow. you wanna wait a week to two weeks afterwards so the potato develops a rough skin for storage

I think I'm going to set up a room in my house as a tiny storage place for off-grid gear.
Keep all the stuff I'll need for it in one place. Every time I try to develop a checklist it just goes everywhere. Although I have some stuff currently that's going to be extremely useful, it's so hard to get organized.
@ᚱᛟᛟᛏ keep it packed and ready to go. <:varg:531496271920496640>
Actually kind of cool
time to cure
@hedge Kind of related to what you were doing earlier https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFkqnT8Czng
@ᚱᛟᛟᛏ go to second hand stores and get some wardrobes and free standing storage cabinets
for your storage room
dont just put it on the floor in there
you start doing that sort of thing and you will end up with a mess, put a big long desk to use as a workbench for prepping gear and stuff also
then set up the third room for doomoo
😎
How should he store you? Salted or smoked?
