Hah you spell it so weird

2019-01-20 04:33:28 UTC

Chemistry is fun though

2019-01-20 04:33:29 UTC

Redox is fun

2019-01-20 04:33:31 UTC

yeah

2019-01-20 04:33:32 UTC

Oh, yeah, redox

2019-01-20 04:33:48 UTC

Chem is one of those things I do whenever I feel anxious to calm down

2019-01-20 04:33:57 UTC

I wish we spent more time in a lab though

2019-01-20 04:34:28 UTC

Tfw no lab

2019-01-20 04:34:57 UTC

I have to make one eventually

2019-01-20 04:35:49 UTC

That'd be cool

2019-01-20 04:36:27 UTC

Yeah

2019-01-20 04:36:28 UTC

God i wish

2019-01-20 04:38:47 UTC

The reason I picked up the book on terpenes was because I've been looking up the components of essential oils and familiarizing with those.... there was a book on perfumery that I should've gotten too but I didn't want to spend money and now I regret not buying it because it had loads of cool terpenes in alphabetical order and their differing properties <:sangry:519749026502148096>

2019-01-20 04:42:10 UTC

That's too bad man. Are you going full auto-didact?

2019-01-20 04:42:40 UTC

No choice

2019-01-20 04:43:37 UTC

the diploma i got was shit and colleges are just assholes when it comes to non-degree students applying. I dont have time to go for a full degree and would just want to go for the chem classes.

2019-01-20 04:44:56 UTC

That's a bummer, as much as I dislike educational institutions, there are certainly some advantages to studying in very refined, structured way

2019-01-20 04:45:08 UTC

I agree

2019-01-20 04:45:14 UTC

But good thing textbooks exist

2019-01-20 04:45:32 UTC

And plus, if you study the periodic table every day, you always learn something new

2019-01-20 04:45:52 UTC

It is a very clever way of organising information

2019-01-20 04:46:29 UTC

I am always impressed when I learn a new principle relating to chemistry and then finding that it's already expressed in the periodic table

2019-01-20 04:46:58 UTC

Same!

2019-01-20 04:47:07 UTC

I feel like I never get enough of the main group elements

2019-01-20 04:50:07 UTC

It would be more fun to learn if there wasn't such a massive pressure to perform well on exams though, I guess that's one big advantage to being self taught

2019-01-20 04:50:12 UTC

You can do it for pure enjoyment

2019-01-20 04:50:47 UTC

Anyways, gonna get some sleep. Take care man

2019-01-20 05:16:36 UTC

Have a good one
