I designed a chainsaw like magazine system a bit ago for shotguns to make a top feed bull pup internal magazine to get a hefty capacity

It would be like two tubes on top of one another plus the added length of the upper tube going to the stock

Optimistically 24 rounds

Realistically 16

The shotgun was a proper recoil operated weapon compared to the rotating chamber trigger operated extraction and operation but recoil operates bolt

So does the chain in the magazine work like a conveyor belt?

If it's a top loader why not just use like a giant p90 mag?

That would be too wide with 12 g

I trust the mechanics of that more so than having paddles between shells to move them.
