Well that would be an actual test of your morality, no?
Everything else can be considered ego centric, which doesn't elevate you very far above your monkey cousins
If anything, you may be below them in that case, as the killer monkey is at least honest about his nature
Humans are killer monkeys
I'm aware
But if I was a pedophile or a murderer I wouldn't want to go to jail
but I'm not one...
That's fine, but it makes your code of morality extremely weak, as it exists only to serve yourself
it's not
Just the nozick "what if you were a person you don't like" thing is retarded
I'm not an immoral person or a normie, if I was I wouldn't have the capability to comprehend or even hold the views of them so I'd just want whatever's best for me
would I deserve the same fate I want for them yes does that mean I'd want it obviously not
What should your code of morality serve, if not yourself?
There are many types of morality
Almost all are either humanist or religious
some are life-centric, extending morality to animals and the natural world
The latter is probably closest to mine
NATURE RULES ALL.
Me as well
but I'm not an atheist
Du
H
Duh
My morality is based on nature
So what do you think that says?
So extending morality to nature is a little strange?
brainlet post
Vegans are an example of those who extend morality to nature
A fetus or a (literal) retard doesn't care about your morality either
Also another good example would probably be the US's branches of land management as well
If who you apply morality to is only the people and things who can reciprocate then it's just as self serving as not caring about them
If Fetuses dont acknowledge my morality, we should abort them
lol
Is that how the social contract works

Sorry i couldnt help but make that joke
That is how the humanists breach their own morality, yes
"You have certain human rights, unless you refuse to acknowledge them"
"Then we are permitted to breach your rights"
I don't like the "consent" based morality
