and somebody needs to go after them

2019-01-14 21:39:41 UTC

but government corruption is so deeply rooted that nothing will ever get better

2019-01-14 21:47:56 UTC

I wanna get into politics but I know I'd get "suicided" if I did

2019-01-14 21:55:41 UTC

no you'd just fail for being unlikeable

2019-01-14 21:56:39 UTC

I have time for arguments

2019-01-14 21:56:41 UTC

if you do

2019-01-14 21:56:46 UTC

Ok so here's my thesis

2019-01-14 22:03:24 UTC

really makes you think

2019-01-14 22:04:11 UTC

the police are a government-funded gang

2019-01-14 22:04:55 UTC

heres another good one

1. capitalism inherently causes globalization: global trade is more economically viable than self sufficiency, many resources are only available internationally. Trade is easier than any other adaptation to scarcity

2. global trade disincentives responsibility in leaders: the more people (and widespread capital) they rule over the more they can ignore and the less they have to be up to their standards. Unlike in a smaller homogenous area where people generally agree on their ideas and needs and wouldn't tolerate a leader that disregards them.

3. Self sufficiency and individualism are degraded by capitalism:

For two reasons:
a. Capitalism is based on mutual exchange and wage labor as opposed to providing for oneself independent of an employer or a market (both buying and selling)

b. a capitalist economy grows and larger economic producers outclass less competent producers including local resources (note: a monopoly is not necessary to create a reduction in the total number of economic producers). Therefore small business and small scale property ownership is superseded by large scale ownership

Feel free to take your time and respond selectively

2019-01-14 22:10:24 UTC

I'll be 100% real with you I'm really really not in the mood for political debates on capitalism. I will respond to this at some point, but not right now. I' sorry dude

2019-01-14 22:12:08 UTC

What was the original argument

2019-01-14 22:12:33 UTC

I don't know

2019-01-14 22:12:37 UTC

he just started this now

2019-01-14 22:13:25 UTC

Capitalism is inherently globalist?

2019-01-14 22:17:47 UTC

>globalist

2019-01-14 22:17:53 UTC

sorry buddy but the earth isn't a globe

2019-01-14 22:18:00 UTC

its oblong

2019-01-14 22:18:06 UTC

the earth is shaped like a donut

2019-01-14 22:18:22 UTC

The flat earth society has members all over the globe

2019-01-14 22:18:27 UTC

the sun goes through the center of the whole, adn then expands into a ring of it's own and goes round the outside of the earth

2019-01-14 22:18:40 UTC

mars is a sphere, because it's meant to fit in the center of the donut earth

2019-01-14 22:18:43 UTC

earth is actually kind of flat at the top so they have a point

2019-01-14 22:19:04 UTC

earth is shaped like a fidget spiner

2019-01-14 22:19:10 UTC

that too

2019-01-14 22:19:22 UTC

2019-01-14 22:30:30 UTC

Im in the mood to debate something

2019-01-14 22:30:35 UTC

Unsure why

2019-01-14 22:30:46 UTC

someone say an opinion on something interesting

2019-01-14 22:34:31 UTC

Hot take: the 90s wasn't special, you're just desperate to feel like you matter more than other generations

2019-01-14 22:34:36 UTC

there, debate that,
