That justifies my shitty English skills a bit I guess
>Not making 70-80s in all subjects
Disappointed.
You mean %?
Yeah
We never used letter grades here
Because they're fucking stupid.
We don't use letter grades either
We use numbers from 1 to 6
Where 6 is the highest grade, some kind of "A+" which is reserved only for having extracurricular knowledge of the subject (at least in theory)
Germans use the opposite system where 1 is the highest grade
We did the 1-5 metric in middle school but that was a "we'll try it and see how it goes" thing. 5 being the highest grade.
In percents it's something like:
90%+ - 5
75%+ - 4
50%+ - 3
30%+ - 2
I've done the straight A thing but I've also done the 0.2 gpa thing
<:kek:519747357076881408>
Okay, gpa is "grade point average", right?
But what's the highest possible gpa in US?
Since I assume the lowest is just 0?
It's 4.0 isn't it?
Oh, then 0.2 looks quite bad
It can go up to 5.0 because classes can be weighted
To where an A/90%+ is a 5 and not a 4
Paco having straight A's in remedial classes shouldn't have the same status as someone acing their full AP class roll.
Why can't you just have one standarised ed system?
How do you even get your heads around all this bullshit?
I don't mean that particular thing
Although I've heard that even that varies across the country
I mean, the way gpa works
I blame farenheit.

I saw some of these being planted on my way to work.
"They're cold Hardy. They come from the snow."
>hide them from the weather in a box
I FUCKIN SAW THAT BOX
Not irl but in the article and thought the same thing.
The ones in the ground on the way to work were open
And not covered.
But I think it's because it's summer now
