You can technically own one, but getting a license is a long and tedious process
But pretty much everyone who wants to get a license gets it
Just most people don't care
it's long and tedious here too, but I guess it depends what you mean by tedious
We don't have the "muh gunz" culture of the US here
So barely anyone beside hunters and sport guys own them
I don't think any country other than the US is like that
about 160$, a days worth of training and two month long wait
I'm also pretty sure the open carry isn't allowed
Canada has a HUGE gun culture just like the US

Uh. No
Yeah our huge culture with our 5 round magazines.
They dont.... sorry.
Yeah, it's a bit harder in Poland bacon
And calling the RCMP to transport your handgun anywhere.
Our national identity is 99% centered around the constitution
What the fuck 😄
yeah not as much as the us
You have to call the RCMP to transport your handgun?
The white weapons are much more popular here
Esp knives
but only fourty years ago and you could buy a shotgun at walmart
Yes
my dad had like three guns
To move a handgun in Canada, you have to call the cops, tell them you have your handgun, and that you are taking it to range X or gun club Y or gun smith Z
before he sold them to pay for a mortgage on a house
Only fourty years ago
yeah the gun law on handguns is very strict
but you can have a rifle in your car unlocked
it just needs to be unloaded
Oy vey
What about hunter riffles?
Oh
Yeah
we have due diligence
so if someone steals your gun and you didn't take any precautions you may get in trouble
If you bring a handgun into Canada you get permanently kicked out
They wont let you back into the country
US i mean
