national guard is land based?

Coast guard raids boats full time meanwhile national guard is state by state and they do disaster relief in military uniforms and meet like every third weekend

They also use guns and drill on said weekend

Sometimes they get deployed

I don’t know why

They’re treated like the retarded younger brother in all military engagements

They shoot at their own people a lot and aren’t very professional or by the book

I can dig the last two but the first is a major deterrent

Hell we weren’t even at war when I was born and that’s crazy

I experienced America at peace for 9 months

9 months of my life someone wasn’t trying to kill me

Now even my homeland wants to replace me and hates me

My ancestor got wounded 6 times and had an arm amputated fighting to free slaves just for me to be called a racist because I believe that they can take care of themselves
