That's the one meat you can't just go out and buy here.

2019-12-13 17:21:29 UTC

Gator in general, really

2019-12-13 17:21:33 UTC

but jelly roll is the good stuff. <:OwO:519747712497876993>

2019-12-13 17:22:57 UTC

Jelly roll?

2019-12-13 17:23:02 UTC

@Necrosisinthebutt have you ever seen an alligator cleaning

2019-12-13 17:23:19 UTC

I don't think so. Or at least it's been awhile

2019-12-13 17:23:38 UTC

Although I have eaten fried gator plenty of times

2019-12-13 17:24:11 UTC

Gator on a schtick

2019-12-13 17:24:22 UTC

At the Houston Rode-o

2019-12-13 17:24:55 UTC
2019-12-13 17:25:05 UTC

They got fried squirrel, ford rabbit fried beef, fried chicken, fried rattlesnake

2019-12-13 17:25:18 UTC

Fried twinkies

2019-12-13 17:26:03 UTC

With a name like the jelly roll I expected something quite different.

2019-12-13 17:26:07 UTC

I'd try that.

2019-12-13 17:26:18 UTC

I'm not mature enough to prepare an alligator because I can't not giggle when you inflate it with air like a baloon

2019-12-13 17:26:26 UTC

that's why you all missed

2019-12-13 17:26:34 UTC

<:lmaodog:528396001627734016>

2019-12-13 17:26:37 UTC

you stick an air compressor into every part of the alligator and inflate it like a balloon

2019-12-13 17:26:47 UTC

That'd be fuckin too much for me.

2019-12-13 17:27:02 UTC

the jelly roll is the tenderloin like he said, it's the softest, choicest bit

2019-12-13 17:27:17 UTC

Like, self-shredding meat, 10/10 quality, perfectly soft

2019-12-13 17:27:32 UTC

Yeah i expected something with jelly-like substance in it.

2019-12-13 17:27:48 UTC

well you saw how tender it was

2019-12-13 17:28:07 UTC

I did, but I was thinking like a donut, or jell-o.

2019-12-13 17:28:39 UTC

the hardest part of preparing an alligator from what I understand is preserving the skin for re-selling or processing yourself

2019-12-13 17:28:53 UTC

the only truly desirable part of the alligator's hide is the belly because it's soft enough to be worked, but it's very easy to damage

2019-12-13 17:30:19 UTC

That looks good af

2019-12-13 17:30:43 UTC

How does this beast survive such an inhospitable place

2019-12-13 17:31:25 UTC

Also I assume they must clean then thoroughly right

2019-12-13 17:31:40 UTC

Cause swamps where the dead things go

2019-12-13 17:32:08 UTC

Man I want gator burgers tho

2019-12-13 17:32:58 UTC

Are burgers always made with ground up meat or can you take a slice of meat and call that a burger ? Or would that be a steak at that point

2019-12-13 17:33:04 UTC

>French people
>Cleaning

2019-12-13 17:33:21 UTC

Does spam count as a burger then?

2019-12-13 17:33:31 UTC

Nah

2019-12-13 17:33:35 UTC

That's a Spamwhich

2019-12-13 17:33:47 UTC

Special case for it I guess.

2019-12-13 17:33:52 UTC

Yea

2019-12-13 17:34:00 UTC

It's that vile. <:kek:519747357076881408>

2019-12-13 17:34:02 UTC

It's got its own jelly

2019-12-13 17:34:08 UTC
