A crowd of Yellow Vest protesters broke into and trashed a Masonic lodge in the French village of Tarbes. The ransacking has been condemned by the French government, who accused the protesters of “stupidity” and “intolerance.”
Some 450 protesters had gathered in Tarbes on Saturday for the 17th straight weekend of anti-government demonstrations. Around midnight, La Dépêche paper reported, some protesters began shouting “we’re going to the freemasons!”
A smaller crowd of protesters marched on the Masonic temple, with one battering down the door of the secretive organization’s clubhouse. More protesters pelted rocks at the building and eventually the group forced its way inside. They overturned furniture, trashed the esoteric art hanging on the walls, and stole four ceremonial swords
Police have opened an investigation, and France’s Interior Minister Christophe Castaner condemned the vandalism.
“After the Jews, the Freemasons,” he tweeted, alluding to alleged anti-Semitism within the ranks of the protesters. “When stupidity encounters intolerance, it is the worst.” Castaner also accused the Yellow Vests of having “no other project than hatred.”

this is the guy who for several years now started housing the homeless in motels for $250 a night, for months or years, his wife also heads a city program and gets paid a 400k salary which she spent 850mil for said program with no accountability or oversight. When asked to provide actual spending on housing the homeless in motels, it took the city years to produce even miniscule data, to this day we're not sure how much they spent, but it's a lot.
they actually locked motels in contracts for several years to house the homeless, motels which were averaging about $50-$75 per room per day, and paid them fuckin $250 per day everyday to keep those rooms for the homeless lol
now wouldn't someone in their right mind negotiate and say you never ran these shit motels at full capacity, how's $100 for every room per day for 3yrs, not $250.
