The NFA shop would let people rent shit to try out at the range
Public outdoor 300 meter range with a smaller pistol range next to it
Alaska has its own version of Craigslist where people are allowed to sell firearms
There is an UNGODLY amount of Colt Pythons in Alaska
Because bears and shit
Anyone heard of these guys before?
Nope
I mean, I know an old guy who only paid what the transferrables cost back when you could just buy the fuckers, theres plenty of 60 year old folks who had a hankering for mgs in the 80s
All the action movies coming out made them want to play hero with some real hardware
like this one old guy who works at a local NFA dealer has a fucking ton of transferrable m16s and uzis and shit like that
There was a dude who got divorced last winter, so he took his collection to the local vintage firearms store to sell it all off before his wife could try to take them
Low profile, laser cut webbing, two belt system
Comfy inner belt
Got turned around on a few full autos because the shop wasn't class 3
Cobra buckle
I hope his full autos are safe and didn't get taken and sold for half price by the now ex wife
at this point for the cost of an M16 you could pay for your SOT license for something like 15+ years, theres no reason to buy them anymore imo, unless you really hate paperwork
I'm gonna use that NFA trust and build my PPS-43 how she was meant to be built
All I have to do is buy a 9mm barrel that will fit and look natural on it
And my Galil kit has the full auto parts and the CNC Warrior receiver has three selector notches, so I might as well drill that third pin hole
I'm from Pennsylvania
They have a law preempting it along with being stupid remote
@Solar Not so much better, just completely safe in that there's no real weird gimmicks
Yea but you’re in AK
Oh, it's stiff outer belt with soft padded inner
yeah but if youre going to drill a 3rd pin hole you cant put it on a trust so why even bother with a trust
That law only applies if the items are manufactured in Alaska with the intent of never leaving the state
I'm getting my SOT as well
Having the Army pay for my gunsmithing courses snd shit
I dont think that has any bearing on adding a post sample MG to a trust
Just buy kits and do it yourself
I have kits
A Galil kit and a PPS-43 kit
IIRC a post sample MG is attached to the business/maker, not able to go on a trust or anything like that
@Solar The Arborarms SALT unpadded belt is also looking rather promising
But takes more investment as you need a sleeve belt as well
