2019-11-08 18:51:37 UTC

It was AK12 because they started in 2012

2019-11-08 18:51:38 UTC

AK200 is basically a free floated Ratnik with some better dust cover

2019-11-08 18:51:47 UTC

AK200 cause AK100 series taking the next step

2019-11-08 18:51:56 UTC

AK400 because AK12 competitor but not AK200

2019-11-08 18:52:01 UTC

And A545 because ???

2019-11-08 18:52:06 UTC

Aye tell <:cdk:559943710536761344> not to use teeth when i get up to gear heaven

2019-11-08 18:52:22 UTC

@Tet Essentially

2019-11-08 18:52:30 UTC

There's more parts changes than that

2019-11-08 18:52:51 UTC

You can still build em on 100 series receivers tho, can't you?

2019-11-08 18:52:54 UTC

It's stilla decent upgrade but it's not even close to what the original AK12 offers

2019-11-08 18:53:02 UTC

<:cdk:559943710536761344> <:cdk:559943710536761344> <:cdk:559943710536761344> <:cdk:559943710536761344> <:cdk:559943710536761344> <:cdk:559943710536761344> <:cdk:559943710536761344>

2019-11-08 18:53:04 UTC

Same receivers, but different most everything else

2019-11-08 18:53:25 UTC

Look at <:cdk:559943710536761344>
Look at him and laugh

2019-11-08 18:53:31 UTC

I know there's one in country already, so I figured it must have gotten built on just a regular receiver

2019-11-08 18:53:39 UTC

The trunnions make the barrel easier to swap, the RSB is different to allow the integrated dust cover, the FS and GB were changed to allow free floating

2019-11-08 18:53:42 UTC

Also s/o to the 74 receiver for existing as long as it has

2019-11-08 18:53:56 UTC

I think the rear trunnion is the only piece that didn't change

2019-11-08 18:54:14 UTC

Sometime earlier this year KC started offering civilian AK12s and eventually blank fire AK12s

2019-11-08 18:54:26 UTC

So demilling an OC AK12 and rebuilding it here was nothing

2019-11-08 18:54:33 UTC

In case you were curious how they got it

2019-11-08 18:54:39 UTC

Oh neat

2019-11-08 18:54:42 UTC

<:cdk:559943710536761344>

2019-11-08 18:54:50 UTC

What's the general risk with parts kits from Russia in your experience?

2019-11-08 18:54:50 UTC

Some people in 2018 got the upgrade kits and rebuilt Saigas to look close

But Lyndonn's is the first one built from a full kit I know of

2019-11-08 18:55:25 UTC

The most that usually happens is a RTS and then they just send it again
