That goes for all AKs tbh
AK400?
And it angers me they renamed it to the AK200
Because the original AK200 was the cool AK12
Back when the AK12 project was happening the A545/A762, AK200, AK400, and a few others all got trialed
The AK200 was the one that got shown off cause it was the most baller, but it was too expensive
Now we have AK74M modernization kit and nu-AK12 and whatever AK200 is
The A545/762 got adopted for SF, the AK400 became the new AK12, and they eventually renamed it from AK400 to AK200 to kill off the cool AK12 for good
The AK400 is the AK12 you see now
Oh is current AK200 what the adopted AK12 is
Okay
Such convoluted terminology
<:myaomood:594824702149656592>
It was AK12 because they started in 2012
AK200 is basically a free floated Ratnik with some better dust cover
AK200 cause AK100 series taking the next step
AK400 because AK12 competitor but not AK200
And A545 because ???
Aye tell <:cdk:559943710536761344> not to use teeth when i get up to gear heaven
You can still build em on 100 series receivers tho, can't you?
It's stilla decent upgrade but it's not even close to what the original AK12 offers
<:cdk:559943710536761344> <:cdk:559943710536761344> <:cdk:559943710536761344> <:cdk:559943710536761344> <:cdk:559943710536761344> <:cdk:559943710536761344> <:cdk:559943710536761344>
Same receivers, but different most everything else
Look at <:cdk:559943710536761344>
Look at him and laugh
I know there's one in country already, so I figured it must have gotten built on just a regular receiver
The trunnions make the barrel easier to swap, the RSB is different to allow the integrated dust cover, the FS and GB were changed to allow free floating
Also s/o to the 74 receiver for existing as long as it has
I think the rear trunnion is the only piece that didn't change
Sometime earlier this year KC started offering civilian AK12s and eventually blank fire AK12s
So demilling an OC AK12 and rebuilding it here was nothing
In case you were curious how they got it
Oh neat
<:cdk:559943710536761344>
What's the general risk with parts kits from Russia in your experience?
Some people in 2018 got the upgrade kits and rebuilt Saigas to look close

<:cdk:559943710536761344>
But Lyndonn's is the first one built from a full kit I know of
