I've never owned a 10/22 so I can't say for sure. That's a pretty reasonable amount of cycles for any bolt. Far from the lifetime of the gun, but more than most people ever shoot their gun.
I don't thinking needing to replace a 10 dollar part after that many rounds sounds weird.
just buy a new one
3k is a lot? Is that because most guns shoot more expensive ammo?
@Red Korvo partially. And partially because most gun owners rarely shoot their guns
Lame. I want to shoot the hell out of mine.
3k isnt much
Tell the average fag that you ordered 1k rounds of 5.56 and they think you're a crazy prepper.
Even though you're probably going to shoot it all in one weekend.
(Also you're a crazy prepper with a lot more at home)
it takes 5k rounds for an ar bolt to start getting cracks
just 5k?
I've put 4k in mine no shit
its not like big cracks
but like tiny microscopic ones
5k is where you start paying attention
hmm
>not replacing your AR after the first microscopic crack
>not replacing your AR after every range trip
Just bring your AR to a blacksmith for repairs
Or reset the durability at a bonfire
no stop
no more ghost recon triggers
Just anneal that shit bro.
Gear queer told me to blacksmith my AR. I don't really know what I'm doing, but I'm sure they wouldn't lie to me.

Turn your billet receiver into a forged one
