It’s RMA
They’re rebranded RMA 1155s
It should still sit correctly even if you're tossing it on, provided it's fit correctly.
spartan arms is chinese garbage
oh rma
is RMA garbage?
just as bad tbh
yes
It’s ceramic tile array so it’s not great
CHINA STRONK YOU SHUT CAPITALIST PIG MOUTH
is steel armory even worth looking at
@Varkeszo no
any individual plate from them might perform ok for its weight, thickness, and actual coverage area. but they aim for the low end, have bullshit designs, and aren't trustworthy
No
Are Hesco 4400's any decent?
Yes
heavy but trustworthy
Definitely heavy.
Yeah, they’re kind of heavy though
best go-to option for poorfags
is the hesco special threat plates worth looking into for the tad of weight savings while still being "poor"
Certified ceramics and high end polymers. 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
@Varkeszo rma used to make plates with larger foam rings to make the plate seem lighter
Oof
Hesco special threat plates are what I’ve been considering
i think the 4sas7 is the old school .04 certification with no foam coverage
also good steel plates exist but most people don't have access or shouldn't buy them
hence the thinness. same as my VS plates
I don't use plates because I want to die
Is spall the biggest reason steel armor is shit?
spall and the ubiquity of M193
kinda, most steel companies make their armor out of precertified pot metal
@tacticoolyourjets Do you know what a sucking chest wound is?
Weight, can be penetrated by 193 at higher velocity
@Varkeszo just don't get shot retard
I don't even know why I carry chest seals
They’re stupid ass heavy though especially for the protection level
@tacticoolyourjets Fuck... I never looked at it like that, you right.
good steel plates exist but they're usually really expensive and designed to be super thin for low vis armor against x39 ammo
