so i know that's never happened to me

2019-03-11 00:22:03 UTC

You do have rights, but if you are a danger to yourself you can be taken into custody for them to watch over you. This isn't just something a single person can say, after a doctor does this a judge is notified to protect their civil rights, they need to have a good reason to do this.

2019-03-11 00:22:18 UTC

Risk to self to others and no insight into impacts of condition on daily living then boom sectioned on an involuntary treatment order

2019-03-11 00:23:05 UTC

@EzkealSutekh but how can you prove it

>be a paranoic
>go to the police station
>say hey I think some one is brain washing me.
>get kicked out.

2019-03-11 00:23:20 UTC

nobody really believes in brainwashing.

2019-03-11 00:23:27 UTC

and probably wouldn't even if the evidence was presented.

2019-03-11 00:24:01 UTC

refusing to take mediction with harsher withdrawls then heroin makes u a risk to yourself i guess

2019-03-11 00:24:18 UTC

was dieing from the withdrawal

2019-03-11 00:24:21 UTC

Well there we go: if the doc, judge and police say u crazy - u crazy no matter what

2019-03-11 00:24:41 UTC

it's terrible.

2019-03-11 00:24:51 UTC

that's why i don't rush to a psychologist or psychiatrist.

2019-03-11 00:24:56 UTC

they put u on a drug that mimiks crazy thru its withdrawals

2019-03-11 00:25:07 UTC

i've gone to the doctor for other things and really bad things started happening...dont trust em now

2019-03-11 00:25:14 UTC

move the goalspoasts and say that u are crazy when its purely drug induced

2019-03-11 00:25:21 UTC

i even have proof of sorts but it's too debatable

2019-03-11 00:25:35 UTC

@Máchi Dóxa they dont even need a drug they can make you get paranoic to a point that you will be crazy.

2019-03-11 00:26:53 UTC

yea induce paranoia + stress gonna b fun

2019-03-11 00:27:11 UTC

2019-03-11 00:27:12 UTC

Being paranoid without good reason is a detachment from reality, and does require medical intervention.

2019-03-11 00:28:26 UTC

I'm paranoid about being disabled from anti-psychotics for the rest of my life and the long term side effects of them that have been in existance shorter then i'll evetually be on them for

2019-03-11 00:29:11 UTC

i feel like people are quick to label people under actual attack as paranoid .

2019-03-11 00:29:18 UTC

But unfortunately that medical intervention will be in a psychiatric and he will say you're paranoic and if you hit him because he dont believe you (normally induced by the fear of been killed) you gonna be in a mental illness center. And you can't get out.

2019-03-11 00:29:18 UTC

without fully hearing what is going on with them

2019-03-11 00:29:23 UTC

it doesnt matter how much paranoia in that thats a feature of non-compliance

2019-03-11 00:30:03 UTC

well you can't hit people

2019-03-11 00:30:04 UTC

lol

2019-03-11 00:30:10 UTC

regardless of why

2019-03-11 00:30:12 UTC

legally

2019-03-11 00:30:14 UTC

i had a nurse try trigger me to hit her or go psychotic or something because i reported her for trying to double dose me

2019-03-11 00:30:33 UTC

2019-03-11 00:30:53 UTC

i got faairly strong self control i can easily see someone else being accuphased and isolated from it

2019-03-11 00:31:14 UTC

gave her a fake apology and withdrew my report like the bitch wanted

2019-03-11 00:32:19 UTC

@spinspin2016 Yeah, but what you define as an actual attack does not exist in my world paradigm, i dont believe in spirits or aliens talking to people through telepathic communication, therefore i assume what its most likely to be in correlation to medical litterature.

2019-03-11 00:34:37 UTC

So... do we put these subject like explained?

2019-03-11 00:35:51 UTC

Well, everyone has their opinion on things, some people dislike doctors and think they are only out to harm them and others see their efforts in trying to help their patients, but we did certainly talk about this and everyone gave their opinion.

2019-03-11 00:36:21 UTC
2019-03-11 00:36:34 UTC

depends on the doctor it's the mental health part that's fucked, those doctors that work in icu and save lives are aight

2019-03-11 00:36:38 UTC

2019-03-11 00:38:03 UTC

A lot of what goes on in psychiatry is cruel, i will give you that, but there are kind psychiatrists who wish the best for their patients. In my experience its mostly the nurses that dont do their job properly.

2019-03-11 00:38:37 UTC

is anyone here into drinking tea?
