Crye still makes arguably the best gear on the market. I try lots of other stuff, but keep finding my way back to Cyre. They're the Apple of the gear world, except the opposite when it comes to user customization. As long as you're within their ecosystem you have a ridiculous number of options
Spiritus, Tyr, and First-Spear are the next best ones, in that order imo
F-S comes close to greatness but often inexplicably falls just short
Tyr is the new Eagle Industries in that they make well built gear suitable for widespread issue and reissue. I'm finally getting the new stuff issued next week
Spiritus makes fantastically well thought out gear, but their focus is on LE/CIV and less on MIL, so they don't make stuff that I'd directly use as much
AXL are the good idea faeries, but they don't put very much testing into their products. That said, I've been giving them feedback and am doing some T&E on some of their stuff so hopefully they'll have more refined gear
