yes but hipsters sometimes make those and those are usually a couple of middle class kids playing around

2018-05-07 13:26:30 UTC

could be wrong though

2018-05-07 13:26:40 UTC

Nah

2018-05-07 13:26:58 UTC

Alot of people in that area would have been in the ira

2018-05-07 13:27:37 UTC

Especially in the bogside where bloody Sunday happend

2018-05-07 13:27:38 UTC

haha aight, hopefully we see a resurgence of northern irish indipendence, but socialist

2018-05-07 13:27:48 UTC

^

2018-05-07 13:27:56 UTC

did Bloody sunday happen in Derry?

2018-05-07 13:28:01 UTC

Yeah

2018-05-07 13:28:04 UTC

im sorry im swedish i have no idea

2018-05-07 13:28:22 UTC

I was talking to people who were there

2018-05-07 13:28:37 UTC

The soldiers literally executed people

2018-05-07 13:28:43 UTC

Who were already down

2018-05-07 13:29:17 UTC

thats what happens when you step to global powers like the Brittish Empire

2018-05-07 13:29:32 UTC

do you think the uk will fracture because of brexit?

2018-05-07 13:29:44 UTC

the scotts seem eager to leave

2018-05-07 13:29:52 UTC

Im surprised Scotland didn't get their independence

2018-05-07 13:30:15 UTC

And nationalist community is growing in ni

2018-05-07 13:30:20 UTC

Me too it seemed so obvious, i guess it was economic in the end,

2018-05-07 13:30:22 UTC

Almost even now

2018-05-07 13:30:43 UTC

I think in a few decades it'll only be England and Wales

2018-05-07 13:31:41 UTC

Seems strange for wales to remain, i mean the united kingdoms of England and Wales doesn't sound so cool

2018-05-07 13:32:07 UTC

Its just Wales doesn't care for independence

2018-05-07 13:32:17 UTC

maybe

2018-05-07 13:32:48 UTC

All empires collapse in the end

2018-05-07 13:32:54 UTC

No matter how strong

2018-05-07 13:32:58 UTC

Even the ottomans

2018-05-07 13:35:00 UTC

Yes although i dont think its as much of a constant as different empires last differently, i think for example the ERE lasted essentially 700 years in turkey and the ottomans lasted 400 years after that,

2018-05-07 13:36:51 UTC

I mean even though they had their hickups the chinese empire lasted under differnet dynasties for a very long time, and then it was the nationalist and then the communist china, but china remains constant

2018-05-07 13:38:01 UTC

China did split alot

2018-05-07 13:38:44 UTC

But that's quick a different situation than the uk

2018-05-07 13:40:39 UTC

im not sure how cemented the English language is in the kingdoms, i might be uneducated but there seems to be some cultural overlap among the brittish isles, and thus maybe people see more value in sticking together?

2018-05-07 13:41:45 UTC

i mean i hope it splits, the less regional powers in europe the better

2018-05-07 13:42:04 UTC

divide et impera

2018-05-07 13:42:06 UTC

Alot of nationalists in ni are adamant about teaching gaeilge in schools

2018-05-07 13:43:27 UTC

that might be it, but how much in Scotland?

2018-05-07 13:43:41 UTC

although Scotland seems eager to leave anyways

2018-05-07 13:44:12 UTC

After the independence vote failed people were rioting

2018-05-07 13:44:52 UTC

haha thats right, and i think since they want to remain in the EU brexit probably changed the situation

2018-05-07 13:45:37 UTC

even alot of people in london wanted independence

2018-05-07 13:45:50 UTC

as london is essentially a city state
