Not really. Russia took on 200 German factions. Britain and US together took on 10. They also sacked Berlin and Hitler. Truman not wanting to pay FDRs promised reparations for Russia winning the war instead dropped bombs on Japan 2 weeks after they surrendered. That way he could walk into meeting Stalin and tell him to fuck off without it triggering his wimp complex.
