One thing I really don't understand is how Nazi larpers always Bitch about the Russians outnumbering German troops, the Russians did utilize tactics and had experienced officers it's a blatant lie to pretend they literally just charged them at every occasion and overran the Germans, but how does complaining about a larger force even work? That's just bitching about your enemy having a superior factor in war, no one points out how Germany outnumbered many of their enemies in combat and used that to their advantage, do you hear the French bitching that the Germans had more factories than France or whining saying that they had better trained men or better weapons as if that somehow changes the outcome of the war?
Tldr; numbers is just one factor in war along with quality and quantity of gear, morale training of troops, experience, better officers or better understanding/usage of terrain, so how do the Germans think it's a worthwhile method to Bitch about such matters

Hrushev made up the ''20 million'' number after reading this document from Shepilov quoting Central Statistical Bureau where it says that the total losses including the unborn children, the decrease in life length was 20 million people, while DIRECT losses of both military and civilans was 7 millions
Later, Gorbachov literally falsificated history without any documental support adding up 7 millions up to 27. Now russian government pushes a new number - 42 millions, blaming more and more deaths on Stalin and the Soviet Union and forcing further decommunization

You have to show trust to people sometimes even though you know who they are. Dont you think all the listed was such a surprise to Lenin? Maybe, but even if he knew what vicious snakes were those people - the Party needed them, the speaker skills of Kamenev, the organizing skills of Trotsky, and surely nobody would believe if told that these people were cruelest enemies of the working class, kindhearted Stalin even after their treasons stood up for them and asked Lenin for mercy, he couldnt believe in evil intentions. Only a continuous demonstration made the Party understand who those men were - enemies of the People.
