well i think we all agree what they did and what they stood for was infact immoral so i wont even argue morally but legally actually quite vague as we did not have a standard either way evuantually the supreme court came in but only after the war stating it would have to also be agreed by the rest of the states it would have been intresting had they chose to go to the supreme court about this instead of going about secession by just declaring it which was illegal because they did not go through the proper means

if i just decare my house a country that is not legal if i go to all 50 states and they all approve that should be legal

ill simplify this they did not get approval therefore it was not legal

and i think a standard for this was made by the shays rebellion and several other reblions when the country was still being founded when they destroyed theese rebellions and executed thier leaders
