the only reason the soviets were somewhat successful in the beginning was because get this THEY DIDNT DO SOCIALISM YET

they had capitalist policies at the beggining

idk, if I recall the massive famaines happened rather euickly

after they killed all the productive farmers because they were to uper class or something

the funny things is they were like barely middle classes family farmers

they killed the all or sent them to siberia

took all there land and gave to to "the people" who didn't kno2w shit about how to make it productive

i think they just let them starve

they half of them starved

until they started producing for themselfs

than they confiscated the land

it was like a ghandi strike

shame it failed

they were heros

it weas doomed to failure

who tried to stand up to the system

it was a sound implmentation of communists principles though

they should really actually teach that in our schools

and when anyone tries to protest it

they just let the people starve and die

and steal their land

or shoot them

or send them to siberia

they did lots of that too

i addition to everyone starving

communism at the end of it was meeting everyones bare minimum

and stagnating

forever in limbo

they also confiscated the remaining farmers seed to feed the party

in okish land

with no freedom
