like that recent thing with the supreme court judge nominee who was accused of rape recently
what happened during the hearing and after that was insane
it wasn't just a word against word case with an unsubstantiated one-way accusation
the fact that the rape occurred was so evident that even some republicans admitted they believed it and the rest didn't show signs of disbelief overall
but the crazy thing was, they just didn't care; Ok, he raped that woman (now college profesor) in HS, but so what as long as he's anti-abortion?
