yea there is one typical polish thing, where you say something like it's a question although it's not, like "i don't know why is that" instead of "i don't know why that is"
¿
i bet that would make sense in polish
that's just what i noticed, maybe there is more to it
theres no switching of word order in polish questions kek
¿
so you just say a sentence with an upwards inflection at the end
like you raise your voice
¿
just use this
well and you add "czy" or "dlaczego" in the beginning or whatever
or you even don't
>like you raise your voice
yeah
that's p common in indo european languages, it's crazy in italian lmao
another thing about polish is that we have no articles whatsoever in polish so we have a habit of omitting them in english
oh yea that's generally a slavic thing right
yeah
i dont know any of italian
but there are a few speakers here
tho one native only
oh really <:GWseremePeepoThink:402867838580293643>
hes from italian switzerland part
ticino
oh lmao
what's with the others
all italian learners?
idk they just talk for fun
I dont know if they actually learn much
I think italian its not so hard to pick up like few basic things?
yea definitely
spanish isn't that I know for sure
if you iknow english you already know a lot of romance vocabulary
spanish is kind of like english...
and a lot of french words have become kind of universal
same with latin words
so by default you'll pick up a lot
i've been kinda lazy of late tho so i'm not very good at italian at all
how old are you btw <:thonking:318673885497262091>
