Civil war 2.0 would be fantastic.
Militia vs feds.
@fannybandit Edgy.
Well...We the people vs feds.
@Nicholas91 That remains to be seen.
I'd say something similar to the collapse of Yugoslavia
I would absolutely love a civil war.
But bigger and better
Government can't fight for shit so, it would be quick.
At this rate, the military, militia, and the public would all be on one side.
All vs the feds.
really?
Oh yeah.
The military does not trust the establishment at all.
Neither does the militia.
Neither do the people.
@Nicholas91 Not going to happen like yugoslavia, that fell the same way as the austro hungarian empire, which was the growing nationalism in the country that resulted in the countries within the state declaring independance bloodlessly.
Id of thought the military itself would split
They'd be part of it, one way or another.
Active duty and National Guard would need to have a heart-to-heart, but that's about it.
Which would be fantastic.
Here comes the big queef...
@fannybandit In the event of civil war, the US would collapse into anarchy about a few days in.
Pfff hahahahaha.
"Government shutdown"
For a full 2 days.
Oh no, the national parks are closed!
The military cannot handle that many people rebelling all at once, on the size of nearly an entire continent.
That's the fallout from a civil war under current conditions.
It would be nothing more than a matter of removing every single public official by force.
@fannybandit What the fuck are you going on about?
That would be our civil war...which is much needed and completely appropriate as per the writ of law.
How would the people/militia get access to weapons and technology?
I ask out of genuine ignorance, I have no knowledge on this topic
They already have that access.
@Uriel They already have access to it.
Typically in civil wars the military is factionalised and splits
Yeah, Active duty and National Guard would have to uh...sort it out.
The confederates werent militiamen
@Nicholas91 It would in the US, but the federal gov would still collapse within a few days of the war starting.
